Painting a Dream: Searching for Anna Judah & Her Roseville Connection

Presented by Curator & Historian Chris Pifer-Foote.

Reserve your tickets below!

Join us Thursday, January 23rd from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Carnegie Museum for a short talk, slideshow, and Q&A session about the life and accomplishments of Anna Judah. Lecture will be given by historian and curator Chris Pifer-Foote. Chris curated the exhibit at the California State Railroad Museum, Painting a Legacy: The Search for Anna Judah, which opened in May, 2024. ““When I started my research journey, I had no idea where it would lead. My original search was to find the watercolors and sketches that Anna Judah created in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Her husband, Theodore, invited her to accompany him as he surveyed for the Transcontinental Railroad. But I have discovered so much more!” -Christine Pifer-Foote

See you at the Carnegie!

The Roseville Historical Society quarterly presentation, Trek Through Time, will transport you to a different era of Roseville and discover new things from our regions past. Each quarter will be a new topic and will have a special guest speaker!

It’s a $5 donation to reserve your spot and if you are a member of the Society, no donation needed, although highly encouraged!

Tickets are available by clicking on the button below.
